You might be thinking to yourself, “How on earth do I do that?” Well, the good news is that it’s not as hard as you might think. The subconscious mind is 30,000 times more powerful than the conscious mind. Therefore reprogramming the subconscious mind fast is much easier than trying to change your conscious thoughts.
The conscious mind tends to limit our thinking because of its tendency to focus on past experiences. However, the subconscious is limitless in its ability to see the big picture without being held back by past events.
What Is The Subconscious Mind?
As I mentioned before it’s exponentially more powerful. Your subconscious mind controls your autonomic nervous system. This system is responsible for your breathing, heartbeat, temperature, and a whole host of other bodily functions. This is all being done without you even being aware of it and with no effort on your part.
Often times we only think about things in relation to our current reality. We believe that all we need to do is work harder to get the results we want. If that were the case, then why do so many people who do work hard don’t achieve their goals?
Or people say, “Why does the same thing keep happening to me?” or “Why can’t I find the right person?” They have probably gone to great lengths to achieve things but always fall short. Why is that? Shouldn’t it be that you just have to put in enough effort and you get it?
The Core Belief System
This is where the subconscious mind comes in. Many people have limiting beliefs or blockages in their subconscious minds that they are unaware of. These will unknowingly sabotage any efforts you make to invoke positive change in your life.
Did you know that 80% of our belief system is formed by the age of 18? The experiences and interactions you had as a child created thousands of beliefs or programs in your subconscious that were either positive or negative.
If you are unhappy with any results in your life or keep having negative things happen to you, then it might be time to investigate why. Chances are you have limiting or negative beliefs that are unknowingly holding you back. ?

So How Do I Fix This
There are specific techniques that you can implement to change your life for the better. By doing these, you will learn how to reprogram your subconscious mind fast.
Positive Affirmations
You have probably heard of these before but here it will be explained them in greater detail so you achieve the best result. Affirmations are positive statements that you repeat to yourself to create positive change in your life.
A Few Guidelines
They must be in the present tense. The brain is complex and processes up to 60,000 thoughts a day. It only communicates things in literal terms. So statements need to be like “I am a great person” or “I am beautiful.” Also, they can not contain any negative words like “can’t” or “don’t”
In addition, you want to say them with emotion and conviction as if there were true. And this must be done with repetition which as they say is “the mother of all learning.” To add even more power to these statements, a breathing technique can be used with it.
“Success is a state of mind. If you want success, start thinking of yourself as a success.” – Dr. Joyce Brothers
Use A Breathing Technique
Breathing is a pathway from the conscious mind to the subconscious mind. Breathing techniques are a great tap into this and create change. All you have to do is take a deep breath in and hold while repeating your affirmation silently to yourself and then exhale. When you hold your breath it triggers your autonomic nervous system and allows you to get into your subconscious mind.
Here’s an example: Take a deep breath and hold while saying “I am so happy and grateful that I am a beautiful person” then exhale. Your subconscious is only capable of processing these statements as truths. Now if your conscious mind believes differently than it might seem odd at first. But with repetition, you will actually create new neural pathways and reprogram your brain.
Visualization
We’ve all heard about this but what does it really mean? Basically, it involves using pictures or mental images to visualize the things you want in your life. This is very simple and the good news is that you have already been doing this. If you have been invited to a party, usually the first thing you do is imagine what you’re going to wear. If you want a new house you picture in your mind what you want it to look like.
So you have been unknowingly doing this all the time. The key now is to do it with more focus. Coaches tell their athletes to picture themselves crossing the finish line or hitting a home run. When you do this with focused attention your subconscious believes it to be the reality. Again you’re creating new neural pathways and this reprograms your brain.

See Your Dreams
See yourself as who you want to be. If it’s having more money then visualize yourself having more money. Get a clear picture of what you want your life to look like. Visualize yourself having all the money you desire, or with the perfect partner, or having a great job. See and feel yourself living your dream life.
Create A Vision Board
This is a great visual tool that will help you get a clear and concise picture of what you want your future to look like. If you want a new house or want to travel or whatever it is, find pictures that represent this and put them on the board. Keep this in a place where you see it on a daily basis.
Do A Dry Run
Another great visualization technique is to do a practice run. If it’s a new car that you want and you can’t afford it yet, then go to the dealership and take it for a test drive. Pay attention to the feeling you get in the car.
What the interior looks like and how your hands feel gripping the wheel. Pay attention to all aspects of your driving experience. When you see that car on your vision board you’ll be able to recreate those feelings. This can be done with almost anything. Visualize yourself with your amazing partner or living in your dream home or driving your new car.
Mediation
John Assaraf says “you need to slow down to go faster”. This part is usually overlooked because of the crazy busy lives we lead. Unfortunately, without focused attention, life tends to happen to us instead of us controlling it.
Meditation is a simple and powerful way to calm our minds and become conscious of our thoughts. When we block out all external distractions we are able to achieve more clarity and peace.
The easiest way to get into a meditative state is through breathing. You want to be in a comfortable position with no outside distractions and close your eyes. Only pay attention to your breathing going in and out. As you breathe deeper your mind begins to slow down.
“Meditate, Visualize and Create your own reality and the universe will simply reflect back to you.” – Amit Ray
At first, your thoughts might wander but keep bringing them back to your breath. As your breath deepens, start to visualize what your perfect day would look like in detail. As you practice this, then start imagining what your dream life would look like. The good news is that you will feel better right away. You only need a few minutes a day to get the benefits. Ideally in the morning and at night, but the key is daily.
It’s Worth It
With the hectic lives we lead, adding something new might seem overwhelming. But training your mind is the most important work you will ever do. Using these techniques of affirmations, visualization, and meditation will allow you to live the life you want. You’ll be able to reprogram your subconscious mind fast and you will see positive results in your life almost immediately.
